Terms of Service

1. The service

銀識圈 is a Cantonese-first AI voice companion for older adults, with games, a news feed, and weather. Family carers get a private dashboard of simple signals about how a parent is using the app, not a transcript of what was said.

A parent can join through a family invitation, or sign up themselves with a phone number, Google, or email. Features may differ by plan.

2. Accounts

Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. Carer accounts are for people aged 18 or over. Parents and carers have different views of the service on purpose.

3. Inviting a parent

If you invite a parent, you confirm they have agreed to join. You will not see their conversation transcripts. You will see signals, and Looking Back stories they told so those stories could be passed on. You must not use the dashboard to monitor them in a way they have not agreed to.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and with respect for the people in it. You must not:

• Try to break in, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service
• Impersonate someone else, or enrol a parent without their agreement
• Use the companion to seek help harming anyone, or to get around its safety rules
• Upload photos or other content you do not have the right to use

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

5. The companion is not professional advice

圏姐, 輝哥 and 銀哥 are AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are not a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or emergency service, and they do not replace family, friends, or professional care. For a medical, legal, or money decision, speak to a qualified person. If someone is in immediate danger in Hong Kong, call 999.

6. Plans and payment

Trial is free. Family is HK$88 per month. Care+ is HK$188 per month. Prices are in Hong Kong dollars. The family carer is the buyer. Payment is handled by Stripe. Taxes are not added; Hong Kong has no sales tax on this service.

Paid features stay available while the subscription is active, including during a card retry. If payment finally fails, the account returns to Trial.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel in the billing portal at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period, then the account returns to Trial. Deleting a carer account cancels the subscription first; if that cancellation cannot go through, we keep the account so you are not left paying with no way to stop it.

The first paid charge can be refunded in full within 14 days. After that, refunds are at our discretion. Ask at dimah@silver-circles.com.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who can see it. It is part of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

The 銀識圈 product, brand, design, and companion personas belong to Silver Circle. You keep the rights in content you submit (including photos and stories). You grant us a licence to host and process that content so we can run the service for you and your family.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Voice quality depends on the network and on third-party providers. We may change or withdraw features with notice on this site where we reasonably can.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent Hong Kong law allows, Silver Circle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that comes from relying on the companion as if it were professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Hong Kong law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere if needed to protect the service.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
